It’s real easy to add in a quick trip to London from Paris, or the other way around now that you can make the crossing from city center to city center  in only 2 hours and 35 minutes.

This is all possible thanks to the engineering marvel of the 32 mile underwater rail tunnel beneath the English Channel that links Paris to London.

These Rail Europe trains are capable of speeds as high as 100 mph and traveling

from one end of the tunnel to the other in only 20 minutes

The Channel Tunnel also called the Euro Tunnel or Chunnel.

Actually it consists of three tunnels, two larger tunnels for rail traffic and a smaller service tunnel between the two is used for ventilation, and is a emergency escape route.

Anyone planning to attend the 2012 Olympic Games in London can add on a quick trip to Paris
