The Parisians know how to celebrate on New Year’s Eve. You know the Champagne flows in Paris on that night. There are so many memorable ways you could spend the evening before the New Year in Paris. But if you’re going to spend the New Year’s Eve in Paris don’t forget to bring your wallet. A dinner cruise on the Seine River is a very popular way to bring in 2009 but just be prepared to spend 300 to 500 Euros each, and that includes live music and a bottle of bubbly for two people. The Bateaux Mouche departs at 9:00pm and they let you stay aboard until 3am. They recommend you dress in formal attire, so men if you’re traveling don’t forget to pack your suit. Women bring a nice dress. Maybe you would rather spend the night at a Cabaret. The Moulin Rouge special New Year’s Eve seating starts with a high class meal and a Vintage bottle of Champagne per person. The show begins at midnight and a party follows afterwards; it claims to be an unforgettable evening at 570 Euros each. If the Cruise or the Cabaret is not for you or just a little more then you care to spend for the night out, you can find a Special New Year’s Eve dinner menu at many of the typical Parisian Brasseries for 150 Euros per person. To make reservations at any one of these dinners or just check out the menus and more options for a special night in Paris
